Kangduo SR-2000 Robotic Surgical System

The Kangduo SR2000 is an advanced robotic surgical system for minimally invasive procedures, designed to support surgeons with high precision, stability and ergonomics throughout surgery.

Through robot-assisted technology, the system contributes to improved visualisation, more accurate instrument control and reduced physical strain for the surgeon, offering a modern solution for demanding laparoscopic procedures.

The Kangduo SR2000 bears CE marking in accordance with Regulation MDR (EU) 2017/745 and, according to its intended use, supports minimally invasive surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including:Urology | Gynaecology | General Surgery | Thoracic Surgery

With a focus on safety, technological innovation and surgical precision, the Kangduo SR2000 is designed to support the new era of robot-assisted surgery.

Kangduo SR2000 Surgical Console

The surgical console of the Kangduo SR2000 provides surgeons with a modern, ergonomic and highly precise control environment for robot-assisted procedures. Through two hand controllers and a footswitch system, the surgeon can accurately control the movements of the instruments and the endoscope, while 3D visualisation and a high-definition 4K display enhance perception of the surgical field.

The console supports advanced multimodal imaging functions, such as image navigation, three-dimensional reconstruction, real-time imaging and display of information from the patient-side surgical unit. In this way, it contributes to improved preoperative assessment, more accurate identification of anatomical structures and more informed decision-making during surgery.

At the same time, the open console design reduces the surgeon’s physical strain and visual fatigue, supporting a more comfortable and stable working posture, even during demanding or long-duration procedures. The result is a combination of surgical precision, ergonomics and advanced imaging, enhancing the surgeon’s experience and supporting the safety and efficiency of robotic surgery.

Kangduo SR2000 Patient Cart

The Kangduo SR2000 Patient Cart is the central operational component of the robotic surgical system, carrying the four robotic arms that control the surgical instruments and the endoscope.

It is positioned within the sterile field and works directly with the surgical console, accurately transferring the surgeon’s movements to the surgical field.

The design of the unit allows for:

  • Stable positioning
  • Electric movement
  • Flexible adjustment of the robotic arms
  • Precise control of instruments and endoscope
  • High stability and repeatability of movements

The unit includes functions that support safe and efficient use in the operating room, such as height adjustment, robotic arm control, automatic positioning, sterile opening and closing functions, as well as operation through integrated buttons and control screens.

By combining technological precision, stability and functional flexibility, the Patient Cart contributes to the smooth performance of robot-assisted procedures, supporting the efficiency of the surgical team and the safety of the procedure.

Kangduo SR2000 Imaging Unit

The Kangduo SR2000 Imaging Unit is the endoscopic camera system of the robotic surgical platform and provides high-quality visualisation of the surgical field.

It includes:

  • 32” 4K-2D surgical monitor
  • 3D camera control unit
  • Endoscopic light source
  • 4K ICG 3D video endoscope
  • Light cable
  • System information display
  • Mobile cart

The system is designed to provide a clear, detailed and stable image during surgery, supporting the surgeon in the accurate identification of anatomical structures and in real-time decision-making.

The 3D imaging capability enhances depth perception, while 4K resolution offers high clarity and detail within the surgical field.

The integration of ICG technology enables fluorescence imaging, contributing to the assessment of perfusion and the improved visualisation of critical tissues, where clinically required.

Flexible Collaboration and Training

Multi-Surgeon Collaboration

The multi-surgeon collaboration function allows more than one operator to participate simultaneously in the control of the robotic system.

This enables different physicians to take part in specific stages of the procedure in parallel, enhancing coordination and efficiency during surgery.

Real-time collaboration contributes to the optimisation of the surgical workflow, the reduction of operative time and the overall improvement of procedural quality.

Intraoperative Teaching and Real-Time Interaction

The open console design allows the surgeon to communicate and collaborate with the assistant without barriers.

At the same time, it enables the trainer to observe the surgical field, the details of the procedure and the surgeon’s hand and foot movements in real time.

This interaction improves the training experience, allowing trainees to understand the operation of the system in a more direct and practical way.

Training Simulation System

Based on modern scientific training methods and the concept of the learning curve, the training simulation system helps users become familiar with the real operation of the Kangduo SR2000 more quickly.

The training programmes cover multiple stages, allowing trainers to create personalised training plans for each trainee and improve the effectiveness of the educational process.

Modular Laparoscopic and Energy System

The endoscopy and energy platform integrates 4K imaging technology and 3D fluorescence imaging.

It can display both fluorescence images and surgical field images in real time, enhancing visibility and precision during the procedure.

The endoscope arm features a modular design, while the endoscope can also be used in conventional surgical procedures, increasing the utilisation of the hospital’s equipment.

Digital Ecosystem

The intraoperative image marking function facilitates postoperative review.

The personal cloud-based surgical video library supports sharing and communication at any time, while enabling simultaneous playback of multiple surgical videos for direct comparative training.

The generation and analysis of surgical data allows the evaluation of surgical skills and equipment performance, contributing to the reduction of the users’ learning curve.
