Product Description

Eclypse Border and Eclypse Border Oval are super absorbent dressings with a soft silicone contact layer and border with added hypo-allergenic adhesive on the border to ensure the dressing remains in place.

The dressing has a rapid wicking face and a highly absorbent moisture locking system with an additional wicking layer to further maintain the integrity of the dressing and help to distribute exudate across the entire dressing.

Use

Apply to wound (white silicone face down, beige facing up) allowing a minimum of a 2cm border overlap around the wound area. Do not cut Eclypse Border.

Eclypse Border is self adherent but may require additional support with a suitable bandage or tape and can be used under compression. Eclypse Border must be changed before dressing reaches capacity but depending on wound exudate levels, may be left in place for up to 7 days.

Indications
For all exuding wounds e.g. pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, graft sites, lymphatic legs, fistulas, fungating tumours.

Eclypse® can be used as a Primary dressing on wounds where exudate management is required in a clean wound. Eclypse® can also be used as a Secondary dressing for exudate management where another primary dressing has been applied for treatment of the wound bed e.g. Collagen, Manuka Honey or Alginate.

Contra-indications
Arterial bleeds and heavily bleeding wounds.
