Superabsorbent self-adhesive dressing with silicone wound contact layer

RespoSorb Silicone Border is a sterile, self-adhesive, single-use dressing with a silicone wound contact layer, designed for the management of acute and chronic wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate.

It is intended for use on adult patients by healthcare professionals, both in clinical and home care settings. It may be used in combination with topical antiseptics, according to clinical assessment and the instructions of the healthcare professional.

The dressing features a high-capacity superabsorbent core, surrounded by non-woven material, allowing optimal fluid distribution and effective exudate management. The soft silicone wound contact layer supports gentle contact with the wound and helps reduce trauma during dressing removal.

The upper side of the dressing consists of a special hydrophobic and breathable non-woven material, which helps protect the wound from external factors. Its green upper surface supports correct application and helps prevent placement errors.

The outer two-layer non-woven backing is soft, does not adhere to the wound, and, through capillary action, helps transfer wound exudate quickly into the absorbent layer.

RespoSorb Silicone Border is soft, breathable and flexible, while providing high protection against mechanical stress. It is also suitable for use under compression dressings.
