Sterile Orthopaedic Powder-Free Surgical Gloves
Sterile single-use surgical gloves, specially designed for orthopaedic use and demanding surgical procedures. They are powder-free and feature an internal polymer coating with DERMASHIELD™ technology, allowing quick and easy donning on both dry and damp hands, whether during initial gloving or intraoperative glove changes.
A.R.T.™ technology provides an additional level of durability, helping to minimize potential defects that could later lead to holes.
The gloves feature a beaded cuff with SUREFIT™ technology, which helps ensure that the inner edge of the cuff maintains the natural friction of its surface, allowing it to adhere securely to the surgical gown. This helps reduce cuff roll-down and enhances user protection.
The brown colour of the gloves helps reduce reflections and provides better contrast against lightly coloured instruments and tissues. It also allows the user to wear them as an inner glove in double-gloving systems, making it easier to detect possible punctures or tears.
The gloves are manufactured to be 50% thicker than standard latex gloves, making them suitable for high-risk procedures such as orthopaedic surgery. They provide enhanced protection against powered instruments and bone fragments.
The anti-slip outer surface on the fingers and palm provides a secure grip in both dry and wet conditions, without compromising tactile sensitivity.
They comply with all applicable European standards and surgical glove packaging requirements, as well as the EN 388 standard, and are supported by the relevant test reports.
They achieve an AQL of 0.65 and have been tested according to ASTM D6978 for use with a range of chemotherapy drugs.

Packaging
The gloves are supplied in durable double safety packaging, consisting of an inner stable glove wallet and an outer waterproof pouch on both sides.
The right and left hand distinction is indicated both on the inner glove wallet and on the gloves.
All the above-mentioned technologies are clearly indicated on the packaging box and on the inner pouch.
